Mrs. Kari Beckman - Executive Director

Mrs. Beckman  developed her love of education serving as a national officer for an international organization, which is dedicated to fostering a diversity of education options for children. She then worked for several years with the Department of Education in Georgia and Arizona, leading an initiative on leadership development in young people. As a nationally-recognized public speaker, she traveled the country sharing her passion for the highest standards of personal conduct and excellence in learning.

With this zeal for education, her love of children and her conversion* to the Catholic faith in 1993, she embarked on a life-changing road that led her to the founding of Regina Caeli Academy and a dedication to classical education in the Catholic tradition.

Since its founding in 2003, she has served as RCA’s Executive Director, guiding its growth from a single entity to what is currently thirteen centers in eight states serving almost 1300 students. Just this past year she also founded and launched a one day program for homeschoolers that is modeled and missioned after St. John Paul II's encyclical Veritatis Splendor.

With 20 years of homeschooling experience, she is a champion of the home education method and considers it her passion to share the great news of homeschooling. She recently has been featured in Forbes magazine as well as internationally on the BBC news network for her work in hybrid homeschool education.

When not homeschooling or leading RCA or VSC, she spends her time supporting her local Catholic Church as the Pro-life Leader and Parish Council member  of Our Lady of the Mountains in Jasper, GA. She lives in Canton, GA, with Rich, her husband of 26 years, and their eight children.

She is currently homeschooling five while her eldest child is in graduate school at Catholic University of America in Washington DC and the next two oldest are attending Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, CA.

*Her full conversion story may be read in the book "Chosen- How Christ Sent Twenty-three Surprised Converts to Replant His Vineyard" by Donna Steichen from Ignatius Press.
