Consecration To Mary:
Regina Caeli Academy Livestream

The Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary, August 15, 2025 at 8:45am ET

Please join Regina Caeli Academy’s  Honorary Board Member Rev. Canon Jean-Baptiste Commins, Chair of the Board, Mr. Michael Watkins and President/CEO Christopher P. Ice, as they consecrate Regina Caeli Academy to Mary.

Marian consecration is giving our lives over to Mary, asking her to take care of us. Pope St. John Paul II expressed this idea with the term “entrustment.” Just as Jesus entrusted John into the care of Mary at the foot of the cross when he said, “Behold your Mother,” (John 19:27), so too we entrust Regina Caeli Academy into Mary’s care and look to her as our Mother.

Mary is revealed in Revelation 12:17 to be the mother of all “those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus.”

When we entrust Regina Caeli Academy to Mary’s care, we do so knowing she is not our final end or goal—that belongs to God alone. We do so in order to reach our ultimate goal—union with God. Every Marian consecration is directed toward union with Christ, who leads us to the Father. We want to have the best possible Catholic classical homeschool hybrid in the world and by consecrating Regina Caeli Academy, we entrust all that we do to Mary’s loving care so we can achieve the goal of bringing Christ to others. Mary always leads us to Jesus and she  guides us in the right direction just as she did at the Wedding at Cana, “do whatever he tells you.”

So, let us pray the act of consecration for Regina Caeli Academy. Feel free to consecrate yourself at the same time:

Eternal and Incarnate Wisdom, most lovable and adorable Jesus, true God and true man, only Son of the eternal Father and of Mary always virgin, we adore you profoundly, dwelling in the splendor of your Father from all eternity and in the virginal womb of Mary, your most worthy Mother, at the time of your Incarnation.

We thank you for having emptied yourself in assuming the condition of a slave to set us free from the cruel slavery of the evil one. We praise and glorify you for having willingly chosen to obey Mary, your holy Mother, in all things, so that through her we may be your faithful slaves of love. But we must confess that we have not kept the vows and promises which we made to you so solemnly at our baptisms. We have not fulfilled our obligations, and we do not deserve to be called your children or even your loving slaves.

Since we cannot lay claim to anything except what merits your rejection and displeasure, we dare no longer approach the holiness of your majesty on our own. That is why we turn to the intercession and the mercy of your holy Mother, whom you yourself have given us to mediate with you. Through her we hope to obtain from you contrition and pardon for our sins, and that Wisdom who we desire to dwell in us always.

We turn to you, then, Mary Immaculate, living tabernacle of God. The eternal Wisdom, hidden in you, willed to receive the adoration of both men and angels. We greet you as Queen of heaven and earth. All that is under God has been made subject to your sovereignty. We call upon you as the unfailing refuge of sinners. In your mercy you have never forsaken anyone. Grant our desire for divine Wisdom and, in support of our petition, accept the promises and the offering of all of Regina Caeli Academy which we now make, conscious of our unworthiness.

We, Regina Caeli Academy, renew and ratify today through you our baptismal promises. We renounce forever Satan, his empty promises and his evil designs, and we give ourselves completely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry our crosses after Him all the days of our lives, and to be more faithful to Him than we have ever been before.

This day, with the whole court of heaven as witness, we choose you, Mary, as our Mother and Queen. We surrender and consecrate Regina Caeli Academy and ourselves to you, body and soul, with all that we possess, both spiritual and material, even including the spiritual value of all our actions, past, present and to come. We give you the full right to dispose of us and all that belongs to us, without any reservations, in whatever way you please, for the greater glory of God in time and throughout eternity.

Accept, gracious Virgin, this little offering of our slavery to honor and imitate that obedience which the eternal Wisdom willingly chose to have towards you, his Mother.

We wish to acknowledge the authority which both of you have over this little organization, an imperfect group of sinners. By it we wish also to thank God for the privileges bestowed on you by the Blessed Trinity. We solemnly declare that for the future, we will try to honor and obey you in all things as your true slave of love.

O admirable Mother, present Regina Caeli Academy to your dear Son as his slave now and for always, so that he who redeemed us through you, will now receive us through you.

Mother of mercy, grant us the favor of obtaining the true Wisdom of God, and so make us one of those whom you love, teach and guide, who you nourish and protect as your children and slaves.

Virgin most faithful, make us in everything so committed disciples, imitators and slaves of Jesus, your Son, the Incarnate Wisdom, that we may become, through your intercession and example, fully mature with the fullness which Jesus possessed on earth, and with the fullness of his glory in heaven. Amen.
