We believe parents and those who hold their place are bound by the obligation and enjoy the God given right of educating their children. Apply now Vision of Catholic Home Education and Formation At Regina Caeli Academy we believe parents and those who hold their place are bound by the obligation and enjoy the God given right of educating their children. About Us Classical Homeschool Hybrid Method Our carefully designed homeschool hybrid model offers support to parents with an accredited classical curriculum for PreK through 12th grade. Students attend classes by grade level at their local campus centers on Mondays and Thursdays and follow the integrated curriculum at home during the remainder of the week. Campus classes are taught by teachers (we call them tutors) trained in the classical curriculum and the Socratic method to lead intentional discussion throughout the material as your child grows through stages of grammar, logic, and rhetoric. Our classical curriculum insists that the purpose of education is to cultivate a mind pursuant of truth and includes robust coursework in reading, writing, Latin, mathematics, music, debate, and the visual arts. Our Mission Regina Caeli Academy is an accredited, classical homeschool hybrid that educates students by passing on the timeless ideas and works of Western civilization in light of the Catholic intellectual tradition. Students develop discipline in their intellectual and spiritual lives, drawing them to pursue Heaven while cultivating true happiness, freedom, leisure, and purpose on earth. Families and staff work together to provide an educational sanctuary where all reap the benefits of our unique model, edifying them in their pursuit of virtue. Our Vision Our Catholic faith is embedded in the culture and curriculum of RCA. We ensure our teachers and staff are committed to faithful adherence to the Holy Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church through an oath of fidelity. Students have frequent access to the sacraments of the Eucharist and Reconciliation, regular religion classes following the Baltimore Catechism, and regular interactions with religious clergy. Education for Catholics "Parents and those who take their place are bound by the obligation and possess the right of educating their offspring. Catholic parents also have the duty and right of choosing those means and institutions through which they can provide more suitably for the Catholic education of their children, according to local circumstances" (Can. 793 §1) Cultivating a Mind Pursuant of Truth The Benefits of a Classical Homeschool Hybrid Model Students graduate from the full college preparatory curriculum with an accredited diploma Parents are assisted with meeting deadlines, testing, and attendance requirements It is an affordable model for those who desire flexibility It allows children to be home with mom or dad three days out of the week Those who teach with us are trained in the classical curriculum and the Socratic Method "Regina Caeli Academy has the potential to lay a solid foundation for a legion of future saints.” Harrison Butker RCA Board of Directors Curriclum Our Curriculum Benefits of a Classical Curriculum Following the great intellectual tradition of the classical liberal arts, Regina Caeli® curriculum utilizes a classical methodology that rests on the concept of the Trivium, Latin for “the three ways” of learning: grammar, logic and rhetoric – which correspond to a student’s naturally maturing mind.
